Dear former and current USHU members,
USHU was set up in 2008 to ensure that the needs of staff working in EU Delegations and at the EEAS HQ are fully reflected in all human resources policies!
No one knows the challenges of living and working in third countries better than USHU! We invite you to have a look at our new website: http://www.ushu.eu
In the last view weeks, we have started online meetings under the motto of “Meet USHU” to consult staff on issues that seem to prevail in Delegations. While we have focused on local staff giving the imminent decisions, they had to take on the new employment conditions, we will now also launch meetings for other staff categories and on topics of general interest.
We would very much appreciate if you signup for our new memberships (http://www.ushu.eu). You can choose from three membership plans (paid) or an affiliate membership (free plan) in order to stay up to date and get all other benefits of joining USHU.
Currently, if you enter “SummerTime” as Promo Code during checkout, you will receive a 10% permanent discount on our "standard" or "intermediate" membership plans.
As a current or former member, we have taken the liberty to subscribe you to our site. If you feel you do not want to be in the loop, please follow the unsubscribe dialogue on the bottom of this email.
What do I do if I have already paid my membership fee?
You can write to us (REP-PERS-USHU@eeas.europa.eu) and ideally mention the sum you paid and the plan you would like to sign up with. We will then send you a voucher that you can apply on checkout on the website.
Perspective for USHU
We are looking forward to identifying more engaged colleagues during the online meetings to come and to recruit more USHU Ambassadors that both act as our ears on the ground and as a group of people we engage regularly in our discussions.
For now, I wish you a good experience with the new website and do not hesitate to reach out to us any time.
Best regards
Helen Conefrey
